Abstract:
The health care worker shortages has brought more Advance Practice Providers (APPs) into the work force. Evidence shows that most APPs have trouble with transitioning in the first-year post-graduation, and therefore do not stay in the role long-term.
Purpose: This is a program evaluation of an APP Fellowship in a Level IV NICU, to determine if this program will meet outcome measures and be financially sustainable.
