dc.description.abstract Architects have the privilege, the gift, the ability to define an experience for any given person. The spaces that are created influence perceptions, emotions and actions. Because of the affect personified by a designed structure, a well-planned design can provide a place that not only meets the needs of the transitioning homeless programmatically, but encourage the doubtful and the fearful to begin their journey to a permanent and self-sufficient way of life.
