dc.description.abstract | This thesis intends to interrogate the psychological realm of architecture that has been under examined in today’s world. Through the evolution of architecture there has always been questions on how to design; however, there are lacking questions on how the way we design affects the psychological well-being of individuals. There is a lack of studies that expose the direct connection between the external world and the internal mind. This thesis intends to investigate the depths of the mind then to investigate how the external world influences human behavior, thought, and experience. The external world will be examined through elements of a space and how these elements of a space compose different environments that result in different interactions with the mind. | en_US |
