dc.description.abstract The following thesis deals with fantasies and their relevance in the world of architecture and design. It begins to describe fantasy through the subject of phenomenology; describing its process and relationship of paradigmatic imagery to reality. Looking at history of how fantasies have been implemented in the past, it follows a re-manifestation to discover new meaning beside what is initially expressed. By concentrating personal thought on the methodology of architecture and cultural imagination, fantasies become seen as a vital tool, that can be implemented to generate new ideas and concepts. en_US
